MEDICUBE

Medicube has quickly become one of my new favourite skincare brands, and those little pink bottles seem to be everywhere right now.

As someone with dry, dehydrated skin, the brand really appeals to me. I’m 36, so hydration, fine lines and keeping my skin looking plump and healthy are much higher on my priority list than they were in my twenties.

Having a 2.5-year-old has also kindly contributed a few extra fine lines of his own. Between early mornings and toddler chaos, I’ll happily take any help making my skin look a little less tired!

That’s why Medicube caught my attention. So many of its most popular products focus on exactly what I’m looking for: hydration, plumpness, smoother-looking skin and glow, with trending ingredients like PDRN, peptides, niacinamide, hyaluronic acid and collagen.

I also love the idea behind Korean glass skin. I’m not expecting completely poreless, wrinkle-free skin, but hydrated, smooth, bouncy and naturally luminous skin? Absolutely.

So, if you’re wondering which Medicube products are actually worth looking at, these are the nine I’d put at the top of the list.

1. Medicube PDRN Pink Peptide Serum

Best for: Trying PDRN

PDRN is one of the biggest Korean skincare trends right now, and Medicube’s bright pink PDRN Pink Peptide Serum is a great introduction.

It combines salmon-derived PDRN with peptides and niacinamide, with a focus on hydration, radiance and firmer-looking skin.

I like that it’s an easy addition to an existing routine. You don’t need a PDRN toner, serum, cream, mask and mist just because the ingredient is trending!

If you’re curious about Medicube PDRN skincare, this is where I’d start.

2. Medicube Collagen Niacinamide Jelly Cream

Best for: Bouncy, glass-like skin

This is probably one of the products that appeals to my dry skin most.

The Collagen Niacinamide Jelly Cream has a gorgeous translucent jelly texture and combines collagen with niacinamide to support hydration, radiance and elasticity.

And hydration is a huge part of achieving that glass-skin look.

I’ve definitely noticed that when my skin is dehydrated, fine lines and texture look much more obvious. When it’s properly moisturised, everything naturally looks a little plumper and fresher.

If your priority is dewy, bouncy-looking skin, this would be high on my list.

3. Medicube Collagen Night Wrapping Mask

Best for: Overnight glow

This is one of Medicube’s most viral products.

Apply the Collagen Night Wrapping Mask as the final step of your evening routine, let it dry into a clear film and peel it away the next morning.

It contains ingredients including collagen, niacinamide, hyaluronic acid and ceramides, with a big focus on hydration.

Is it literally giving you glass skin overnight? No.

But well-hydrated skin can temporarily look smoother, plumper and glowier, and peeling the mask off the next morning looks incredibly satisfying.

I’d use this as an occasional self-care treatment rather than an essential nightly step.

4. Medicube AGE-R Booster Pro X2

Best for: Skincare device fans

If you’ve seen Medicube’s futuristic-looking skincare tools, the AGE-R Booster Pro X2 is the newer generation of its popular Booster Pro.

It combines several modes within one handheld skincare device, designed for different uses and concerns.

Do you need one for good skin? Absolutely not.

But if you’ve already got your skincare basics sorted and enjoy experimenting with beauty technology, it’s one of Medicube’s most interesting products.

This is definitely the splurge item on my list.

5. Medicube PDRN Pink Collagen Capsule Cream

Best for: Dry skin + PDRN

This might be Medicube’s most satisfying-looking moisturiser.

The PDRN Pink Collagen Capsule Cream has little pink capsules suspended inside a clear gel, which you mix together before applying.

It combines PDRN with collagen, hyaluronic acid and niacinamide — a combination that immediately appeals to my dry, dehydrated skin.

Jelly Cream or Capsule Cream?

I’d choose the Jelly Cream if your priority is lightweight hydration and bounce.

Choose the PDRN Capsule Cream if you’re particularly interested in PDRN and want something that can feel a little richer.

You definitely don’t need both.

6. Medicube PDRN Pink Collagen Glow Jelly Serum

Best for: Lightweight hydration

Another PDRN option, but with more of a glass-skin angle.

The PDRN Pink Collagen Glow Jelly Serum combines PDRN, collagen and niacinamide in a lightweight jelly texture.

I’d choose this over the original PDRN serum if hydration, radiance and that juicy, dewy finish were my main priorities.

Again, pick one PDRN serum rather than feeling like you need to layer them all.

7. Medicube Zero Pore Pads

Best for: Texture and pores

Glass skin isn’t simply shiny skin, the look is about skin appearing smooth and hydrated.

Medicube’s Zero Pore Pads contain exfoliating AHAs and BHA to help with dead skin cells, blackheads and uneven-looking texture.

This is the product I’d introduce most carefully, especially if you already use retinoids or exfoliating acids.

More exfoliation doesn’t automatically equal more glow.

A healthy skin barrier is much more important than trying to exfoliate your way to completely poreless skin.

8. Medicube Salmon PDRN Pink Collagen Jelly Gel Mask

Best for: A glass-skin self-care night

Sometimes skincare doesn’t need to be essential. Sometimes it’s just nice.

The Salmon PDRN Pink Collagen Jelly Gel Mask combines PDRN and collagen in a hydrogel-style mask focused on hydration and luminosity.

I’d save this for a self-care evening, before an event or whenever my skin was feeling particularly dry and dull.

And aesthetically? Pink PDRN jelly skincare is basically made for Pinterest.

9. Medicube PDRN Pink Caffeine Overnight Wrapping Mask

Best for: Tired-looking skin

As the parent of a toddler, anything aimed at making me look slightly less tired gets my attention.

The PDRN Pink Caffeine Overnight Wrapping Mask combines PDRN, collagen, caffeine, hyaluronic acid and peptides.

Like the original wrapping mask, it dries into a peelable layer that you remove later.

I’d choose the original Collagen Night Wrapping Mask for the classic hydration-focused experience, or this one if tired and puffy-looking skin is higher on your list.

I love my toddler dearly. I don’t necessarily need my face to advertise what time he woke me up.

What Is PDRN Skincare?

PDRN stands for polydeoxyribonucleotide, and Medicube uses salmon-derived PDRN throughout its popular Pink PDRN range.

It’s become a huge K-beauty trend, but I’d be careful about some of the dramatic claims you’ll see online.

Topical PDRN skincare isn’t the same as injectable PDRN treatments, so we shouldn’t assume they’ll produce identical results.

I prefer looking at the entire formula. Medicube often combines PDRN with familiar ingredients such as niacinamide, peptides and hyaluronic acid, which fit nicely with my own goals of hydrated, plump and healthy-looking skin.

Which Medicube Products Would I Buy First?

For my own dry, dehydrated 36-year-old skin, my first three would be:

1. PDRN Pink Peptide Serum: because it’s the PDRN product I’m most interested in trying.

2. Collagen Niacinamide Jelly Cream: because hydration is one of my biggest skincare priorities.

3. Collagen Night Wrapping Mask: because skincare should be fun too, and I’m definitely curious about the viral peel-off effect.

I’d try those first before deciding whether I actually needed anything else.

Are Medicube Products Worth It?

I can understand why Medicube has become so popular.

It combines fun, viral K-beauty products with skincare goals that make a lot of sense for me right now: hydration, plumpness, radiance and smoother-looking skin.

What I wouldn’t do is buy every product simply because it’s trending.

Start with what your skin actually needs.

For me, the goal isn’t completely poreless, wrinkle-free “perfect” skin.

I’m 36. I have expression lines. I have a toddler who doesn’t always respect my preferred sleeping hours.

I just want my skin to look like my skin, only hopefully a little more hydrated, rested and glowy.

And that’s exactly why Medicube has caught my attention.

Conclusion

Medicube has quickly become one of my favourite K-beauty brands because so many of its products fit exactly what I’m looking for right now: hydration, plumpness and healthy, glowing skin.

You definitely don’t need all nine products, though. If you’re completely new to Medicube, my top recommendation would be to start with the PDRN Pink Peptide Serum. It’s an easy way to try one of the brand’s most talked-about ingredients without completely changing your skincare routine.

For dry or dehydrated skin like mine, I’d pair it with the Collagen Niacinamide Jelly Cream, then add the Collagen Night Wrapping Mask if you want the full viral glass-skin experience.

I’m not chasing perfectly poreless, wrinkle-free skin, just skin that looks hydrated, healthy and a little more rested than having a 2.5-year-old usually allows!
